Meet The Team

Gwen Pritchard is a licensed Occupational Therapist with certifications in lymphedema and wound care with 25 years of experience, primarily serving rural communities in Kansas. She has worked across diverse settings including hospitals, home health, long-term care, early intervention, and schools. In addition to her clinical expertise, she has held leadership roles—most notably managing and expanding a hospital rehab department—and now owns and operates her own therapy business, Therapy Essentials. Gwen is known for her hands-on care, team supervision, and ability to grow and manage therapy programs in underserved areas.

Heidi Moore is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with experience in home health, hospice, acute care, skilled nursing, and mental health since 2017. She is organized, self-motivated, and skilled in interdisciplinary communication and documentation. Heidi has also contributed to the profession as an adjunct instructor at Newman University and served as Secretary on the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association Executive Board from 2020 to 2023.

Lynn Simons is a licensed Physical Therapist with a Master’s degree from Wichita State University and over 18 years of clinical experience. She has worked in educational, outpatient, and radiologic rehab settings across Kansas, providing patient-centered care in both rural and urban communities. Since 2018, she has been active as a community volunteer in Garden Plain, KS.

Megan Woods is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a background in kinesiology and hands-on experience in both rehab tech and clinical therapy roles. Certified in lymphedema compression bandaging. She earned her BA in Kinesiology from Kansas State University and completed her OTA training at Newman University. Megan is known for her compassionate approach, strong communication skills, and dedication to providing quality patient care. Currently, she works at Therapy Essentials, where she supports therapy interventions and tracks patient progress.

Michelle Overton is a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant with 28 years of experience. She currently works at Patterson Health Center and also provides care for Home Health patients. Additionally, Michelle performs physical assessments on residents of the local nursing home.

Haley Gates is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with nearly 6 years of experience in patient care, insurance coordination, and therapy documentation. She currently works part-time for Therapy Essentials and PRN at Patterson Health Center and Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. She holds degrees in Applied Science and Exercise Science and is known for being punctual, organized, and an effective communicator.
